Diversity and Inclusion Strategy

MS Plus has developed a Diversity and Inclusion Strategy in close consultation with internal and external stakeholders. Our objective is to maintain our commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture that prioritises the values and beliefs of the individual in the provision of services.

Diversity and Inclusion

At MS Plus we offer a diverse range of support and accommodation services for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions. We remain committed to effectively responding to our duty of care to our clients, volunteers and staff. This includes protecting people’s personal and cultural safety regardless of ability, cultural background, ethnicity, age, gender identity, sexual orientation or religion.

Our aim is to position MS Plus as an inclusive organisation where respect is fundamental to everything we do for our clients, volunteers and employees. As such we will continue to recognise, value and celebrate the different experiences, attributes, skills and perspectives that combine to make us a successful health service provider.

You can download and read our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy below. If you're a client of MS Plus and you would like to get involved in supporting the strategy, you can express your interest in joining our Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

This group will contribute thoughts and ideas that will inform our action plans and lead a series of diversity and inclusion activities. We aim to meet every two months and actively work towards making MS Plus an inclusive employer and provider of inclusive services to our diverse clients. To express your interest please contact nandita.rad@msplus.org.au.
