How to become a volunteer

Each fundraising event has its own dedicated website where you can find information and register to volunteer. You may need to fill in an online form, so you can be allocated to a suitable volunteer shift. Please complete the application form located on the event's website.

We rely on the help of volunteers to ensure our fundraising events are a success. While event participants do things like run, ride or play sports, they depend on volunteers for moral support, assistance throughout the day, event coordination and more.

It’s a fantastic way to give back and put your time, energy and skills toward a worthy cause – while having fun at the same time. Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or it’s your first time, you have the power to make our fundraising events possible.

In 2010 he took part in the ride and also put his body on the line for fundraising by waxing his body for donations!

In 2011, Mark started volunteering his time to support MS with the Gong Ride, and then joining the MS Walk + Fun Run.

Mark has been a very loyal Sector Manager in both of these events, and has recruited the rest of his family as well as his friends to join him in Sector B at the MS Gong Ride.
