Each year for National Carers Week, we take the opportunity to recognise and celebrate you and all the wonderful carers in the MS community!
We’re dedicating this week to the special people – often behind the scenes – supporting and caring for a family member or friend living with MS.
While not all people supporting someone living with MS identify as a ‘carer’, we know that many of you are providing a wide range of support, including emotional, physical, administrative and social support.
Whether you’re caring for your best mate, spouse, sibling, child, colleague, or parent, we see you and everything you do.
While supporting a partner, family member or friend living with MS can be incredibly meaningful and rewarding, we know that it can also take an emotional and physical toll, and at times, feel isolating.
We want you to know, you are not alone.
An MS diagnosis affects the whole family. That’s why we’re excited to bring you the Carers, Family & Friends Toolkit; your home for carer tools and resources designed to support you in caring for your person.
Here you’ll find information and practical tips for different parts of your journey supporting someone living with MS:
