John Blewonski, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
John Blewonski is an expert leader in the community services and not-for-profit sector with over 25 years of experience. He joined MS Plus in November 2018.
John was previously CEO of VincentCare Victoria and VincentCare Community Housing.
- Leading VincentCare’s delivery of the Commonwealth Home Care Packages and an NDIS-funded disability employment program
- CEO of St Vincent de Paul Society in Victoria
- Chief Operating Officer Anglicare Victoria
John has also held a number of other leadership roles including:
- Chairman of the Council of Homeless Persons (CHP)
- Board member of Catholic Social Services Victoria
- Member of the Victorian Housing Minister’s Homelessness Advisory committee

Kim Farrugia, Company Secretary
Kim Farrugia joined MS Plus in December 2016 as Executive Officer and Company Secretary. She has extensive experience in governance and administrative support.
Kim has experience across a number of sectors that include:
- Not For Profit
- Financial Services
- Sports Management
- Marketing

- Manager of Executive Services for a leading not-for-profit aged care provider
- Over 25 years of experience supporting boards, committees, and chief executive officers in the not-for-profit sector.

Rob McClay, Executive Manager Strategy and Client Impact
After twelve years working in clinical rehabilitation, Rob joined MS in March 2007 as a Community Support Worker responsible for delivering case management services to around 500 people living with Multiple Sclerosis. In 2014 Rob took on the role of MS Practice Leader for rural and regional NSW and shortly afterwards metro Sydney as well and was responsible for all client services across NSW.
In May 2016 with the roll out of the NDIS, Rob moved into the Business Development Manager role tasked with developing and then managing all NDIS services being delivered in NSW. After twelve months Rob was appointed to the Senior Manager, NDIS Services role overseeing NDIS services in all jurisdictions. In 2019, Rob was Acting Executive Manager for Mission Services, in 2020 he was appointed General Manager Strategic Projects, and in 2023 he began in his current role of Executive Manager Strategy and Client Impact.
Outside of work Rob is a father to two children and is an avid bushwalker/camper, which he combines with his hobby of macro photography.

Alison Dean, Chief Transformation Officer
Alison joined MS Plus in November 2024 and is a proven strategic and commercially astute executive with a strong track record in shaping, delivering and communicating transformational change. With over 15 years’ experience in strategic marketing and communications, complemented by 15 years in journalism, she brings a powerful combination of storytelling and data-driven insight.
Alison has led the development of innovative, consumer-centric programs that drive revenue growth while attracting new customers, members and philanthropic support. She is recognised for her dynamic and proactive leadership style, fostering a culture of agility, efficiency and accountability across organisations.
With deep expertise in leveraging system and digital capabilities, Alison has delivered integrated brand, marketing and communications strategies that drive growth, elevate reputation and deepen connection with audiences.
She is passionate about accessibility, equity and capacity building.

Darren Spooner, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Darren was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2024 and previously held the position of Senior Manager Finance for over four years.
He has over 20 years of finance experience in the private healthcare and community services sectors. His early career commenced in accounting with Healthscope, Vision Eye Institute and later Healthe Care hospital group. He has since led Finance teams in the not-for-profit sector including Stroke Foundation and VincentCare Victoria.
Darren is responsible for leading the broader finance and business services team in supporting MS Plus to deliver its organisational strategy.
Darren holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Bachelor of Computing and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Jo Sanders, General Manager Quality, Risk & Residential Services
Jo was appointed General Manager Quality, Risk and Residential Services at MS Plus, bringing over 25 years’ experience across the not-for-profit, health and community services sectors. A registered nurse, she offers deep expertise in clinical leadership, quality systems and risk management, underpinned by a strong commitment to safe and person-centred care.
Jo has held senior roles focused on quality improvement, safeguarding, workforce capability and residential service delivery within complex environments. She is recognised for her strategic and considered leadership, driving continuous improvement and strengthening organisational capability.
A key career highlight includes leading a Department of Families, Fairness and Housing evaluation of the COVID-19 response in South East Melbourne, shaping a sustainable, risk-informed model of care for high-risk accommodation settings.
Jo is passionate about quality, safety and delivering services that improve outcomes for people and communities.

Natalie Silvestro, General Manager Client Services
Natalie Silvestro is the General Manager of Client Services at MS Plus, with more than 10 years’ experience within the organisation and across the disability and community services sector. Holding a degree in Health Science, Natalie commenced her career at MS Plus supporting exercise and wellbeing programs and played a key leadership role in the organisation’s transition to the NDIS.
Natalie leads a broad portfolio of client‑facing services, including NDIS services, Allied Health, and the Aged Care Community Visitors Scheme. She is focused on staying at the forefront of NDIS and sector reforms, supporting organisational change and continuous improvement. Natalie is passionate about person‑centred support, strong client outcomes, and enabling teams to deliver high‑quality, efficient services through effective processes and systems.
