We know being a parent and living with a neurological condition can sometimes feel like being on a rollercoaster, both rewarding and challenging at the same time. Our family camps are a fun and relaxed way for you to connect with other families on a similar journey.

Our MS Plus Family Camps are free to attend with all accommodation, meals and activities for the weekend covered. This includes your own family room with a bathroom. The cost of our family camps is covered by fundraising from the MS Readathon.

You’ll spend the weekend connecting with other families and sharing your experiences while taking part in fun outdoor activities like canoeing, flying foxes, campfires and more.

Upcoming MS Plus family camps

How and when can I apply?

Three months before each camp we send an expression of interest form to all families registered with us who live in that state or territory. You will need to tell us about yourself and your family and what you hope to gain from attending the camp.

Applications will remain open for six weeks. We will let you know the outcome of your application by email a week after applications close.

How do you choose the families to attend the camp?

When choosing which families to attend each camp, we consider:

  • the mix of children’s age groups
  • your interests in relation to camp activities
  • if you’ve attended any family camps before.

How can I find out if I'm registered with MS Plus?

If you don’t know if you’re registered with us or would like to be, get in touch with our MS Plus team.
