Our non-contact boxing program is designed for people living with neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.

Plus Boxing is a 4-week program run by MS Plus exercise physiologists at our Lidcombe (NSW) and Footscray (Vic) Wellbeing centres.
Research has shown that exercise plays an important role in managing neurological conditions. Exercises that include big, explosive movements (such as boxing) along with strength training can help rewire the brain to improve symptoms including spasticity or stiffness, weakness, reduced balance and control, ataxia and fatigue

Who is this program suitable for?
This program is designed for people with neurological conditions with the ability to mobilise with a walking stick or less (i.e. no walking aids like walkers).
Do I need prior boxing experience to participate?
All fitness levels are welcome. No prior boxing experience is required as we start our program at a beginner level.
How many people can I expect in a session?
We limit each program intake to 3 people to allow for a personalised experience.
What is the duration of each session?
1.5 hours.
