Our non-contact boxing program is designed for people living with neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.

Our team of experienced exercise physiologists understand the diverse range of neurological conditions. We’re here to guide and support you throughout this beginner-friendly program.

Plus Boxing is a 4-week program run by MS Plus exercise physiologists at our Lidcombe (NSW) and Footscray (Vic) Wellbeing centres.

Benefits of boxing for neurological health

Research has shown that exercise plays an important role in managing neurological conditions. Exercises that include big, explosive movements (such as boxing) along with strength training can help rewire the brain to improve symptoms including spasticity or stiffness, weakness, reduced balance and control, ataxia and fatigue
