Camps for families living with MS

We know being a parent and living with a neurological condition can sometimes feel like being on a rollercoaster, both rewarding and challenging at the same time. Our family camps are a fun and relaxed way for you to connect with other families on a similar journey.

Our MS Plus Family Camps are free to attend with all accommodation, meals and activities for the weekend covered. This includes your own family room with a bathroom. The cost of our family camps is covered by fundraising from the MS Readathon.

You’ll spend the weekend connecting with other families and sharing your experiences while taking part in fun outdoor activities like canoeing, flying foxes, campfires and more.

Approximately three months before each camp, we will invite families to express their interest in camps in their state. The Expression of Interest release will be available through our email updates and Intouch, so be sure to keep an eye out. You will need to tell us about yourself and your family and what you hope to gain from attending the camp.

We will let you know the outcome of your application by email after applications close.

When choosing which families to attend each camp, we consider:

• the mix of children’s age groups
• your interests in relation to camp activities
• if you’ve attended any family camps before.
