Creating a home after hospital

After spending five months in hospital, Christine was ready for a fresh start. Moving to Lidcombe Home gave her the comfort, security and support she needed to rebuild her independence and confidence. Since settling into her apartment, Christine returned to activities she enjoys and become a valued member of the community, even sharing her famous homemade rocky road with residents and staff. With accessible accommodation, personalised support and access to services at the adjoining Lidcombe Wellbeing Centre, Christine found more than a place to live. She found a place where she could focus on her wellbeing, reconnect with what matters to her and feel at home again.
