At Watsonia, you'll benefit from 24/7 support provided by our caring MS Plus support staff, including Active Night overnight support seven days a week.

Our support staff are passionate about providing expert care for neurological conditions such as advanced MS and Parkinson’s. Importantly, we tailor our care to your specific needs, including meal preparation, medication management and assistance with health and wellbeing appointments when required. You will have easy access to physiotherapy, exercise programs, diet and nutrition support and continence care from either our professional team or those of your choice, which can be arranged as part of your NDIS plan for comprehensive support.

  • Public transport trains are a short 10-minute walk away. There is a bus stop right outside the house
  • The closest public hospital is the Austin Hospital which is approximately 10-minute drive from the house. The closest medical clinic, located in nearby Greensborough, is a five-minute drive.
  • Approximately five kilometres drive is either Eltham or Reservoir Leisure Centres for swimming and gym use.
  • Greensborough Plaza is a short 7-minute drive and features banking, supermarkets, cafes, specialty shops and a post office.

How do I pay?

Our residential accommodation is an enrolled Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) property. You will need to have SDA funding as well as Supported Independent Living (SIL) available in your NDIS plan. We can help you prepare for your planning conversation and even come with you if you like, contact our MS Plus team for more information. You will also need to be able to pay a reasonable rent contribution, as set by the NDIA.

How do I apply?

We welcome applicants aged 18 years or older. Our residential accommodation is a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) property, so eligibility for the appropriate SDA level of funding in your NDIS plan is required. Applicants must be able to pay rent and utilities and be willing to establish a residential agreement.
