MS Plus is pleased to confirm that its Blackburn head office and Wellbeing Centre, which closed on 12 June as part of its relocation, will reopen at its new premises at 8 Redfern Road, Hawthorn East on Wednesday 1 July 2026.

From 1 July, all Allied Health services and appointments will also commence from the new Hawthorn East location.

The gym remains temporarily closed during the transition period and will reopen on 1 July in its new, larger purpose-built space. During the closure, MS Plus therapists and wellbeing team members are working with clients to discuss individual circumstances and alternative service options where appropriate, including telehealth and home-based appointments.

The new Hawthorn East facility represents a significant investment in the future of MS Plus services. The purpose-designed site offers improved accessibility, dedicated disability parking, convenient drop-off facilities, enhanced wellbeing spaces and a modern working environment that supports collaboration and service delivery.

Clients visiting the new centre can access a dedicated drop-off point with an accessibility ramp via the Rose Street driveway. Short-term disability parking spaces are available on site, with additional parking located nearby on Rose Street, Redfern Road, Camberwell Road and Monteath Avenue.

The move follows the successful sale of MS Plus' former premises and forms part of the organisation's long-term strategy to strengthen services and improve access for people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.

MS Plus appreciates that the revised opening date may require some adjustment for staff and clients and thanks everyone for their patience, understanding and support throughout the transition.

"We look forward to welcoming staff, clients and the wider community to Hawthorn East on Wednesday 1 July and commencing the next chapter for MS Plus in our new workplace and Wellbeing Centre," says MS Plus CEO John Blewonski.
