More than 6,000 participants and over 100 volunteers recently came together across four states to help support people living with multiple sclerosis.

The MS Walk, Run + Roll was held on Sunday 29 May 2022, across Canberra, Sydney, Launceston and Melbourne, to raise critical funds for MS treatment and research. Supporters raised an incredible $875,031 (and counting).

MS Plus CEO, John Blewonski, said the MS Walk Run Roll events were extra special this year.

“After two years of cancelled events in some locations, it was uplifting to see the MS community back together,” John said.

“Having a neurological condition can be isolating at times. Our events are about more than fundraising, they’re an opportunity for people living with MS, their family, carers and the wider community to show their support for one another.

“We are also passionate about helping people to learn more about what it’s like to live with MS.

“I would like to thank our volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly to get this event up and running, and for every kilometre undertaken and every dollar donated. Your generosity will make such a huge difference to peoples’ lives,” John said.
