Obscura is a diptych painted from memory after a storm rolled overhead during a period of profound vision loss and neurological overwhelm while living with MS. Deep blue and green tones move between stillness and intensity, reflecting the emotional landscape of unpredictable symptoms and the darkness that can arrive without warning. The work explores the fragile relationship between perception, fear, and beauty, while holding onto the belief that even within the storm, light remains.
