Why are you in plan management and what’s your expertise/experience?
I wanted to get into Plan Management as I want to be able to help people to achieve their goals through their NDIS plans, as often people have enough on their plate without having to worry about looking after invoices! I have worked in the NDIS space for two years and recently completed my Certificate IV in Mental Health.
How can you help people living with MS or other neurological conditions reach their goals?
I can help out with interpreting the ever-changing landscape of the NDIS and do my best to clarify information in regard to invoices , such as what can and cannot be claimed. The guidelines can be tricky to understand so I am here to help!
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone beginning their first NDIS plan journey?
Ask for help! The NDIS can be quite confusing to navigate, so there is no shame in connecting with others to find pathways for you to work towards reaching your goals in a way that best suits you.
What should I look for when choosing a plan manager?
Choosing a provider that is trustworthy, honest, responsive, and happy to help! I would recommend choosing a more personalised Plan Manager, as they tend to be more involved with helping you work towards your goals.
How do I find and connect with a plan manager?
Luckily, getting plan management doesn’t affect what’s already in your plan, the NDIA can allocate additional funding to allow for plan management fees!

A place that feels like home: helping Beth reclaim confidence and mobility
Beth was diagnosed with MS in 2007 and has a long-standing goal to improve her core strength to reduce pressure on her legs and maintain her mobility as much as possible. She was at a bit of a loss when her previous exercise physiologist retired, until Beth was encouraged to visit MS Plus and the Hobart Wellbeing Centre, which offers a neuro friendly gym and a range of tailored services under one roof.
