Rania is a mum of two living with multiple sclerosis (MS), and an MS Plus Ambassador. In this series of videos, Rania shares her experience of pregnancy and family planning with a diagnosis of MS during her pregnancies.

In this video, Rania opens up about her emotional and physical challenges during her pregnancies, reflecting on the heightened anxiety and uncertainties she faced.

Rania shared her experiences during pregnancy, including the challenges she faced while planning her pregnancies. She discusses the impact of a severe relapse on her conception plans, the complexities of adjusting to new medication, and the emotional strain of navigating uncertainties about conceiving while managing her MS.

Rania talks about how she gathered information and planned her pregnancies, how she navigated her medical team and the anxiety she faced. She shares how she dealt with reading information online, talking to other women with MS and how having a sister who also has a diagnosis of MS shaped her journey with pregnancy and motherhood.

Rania shares her experience with the postpartum period, which was also influenced by having a sister with a diagnosis of MS. Rania talks about facing the decision to start her MS medications after giving birth, how this impacted her breastfeeding choices and managing her newborn's needs.

Rania shares her tips and strategies to feel best supported and ready for starting a family with MS, and that having a baby is not only possible, but worth it!
