Breathe #3

When the 2 worlds of ‘who I was and thought I’d be’ collide with ‘who I am on a different path’ they come together and are still beautiful and still make me, me. This piece makes me feel calm and at peace with a pretty challenging change of identity. I can no longer teach because of my disabilities and I miss it so much… and it’s ok to miss it. Life can still be beautiful and the two identities still make me who I am. This is my identity. I can still breathe.
