Brilliant resilience

Brilliant Resilience reflects the unseen strength that can exist within chronic illness. Living with multiple sclerosis has changed many parts of my life, but it has also revealed a resilience I never knew I carried. The vibrant colours radiating from the centre of this piece represent the light that can remain, even through pain, uncertainty, and loss. Through crochet, I wanted to express that resilience does not always look fragile or quiet — sometimes it can be bold, luminous, and impossible to ignore.
