This painting depicts lighting candles, which is something as a religious Jewish women I do every Friday night. The 4 candles are one each for myself, my husband and my two children.
When I first began my journey of painting this I had not long lost a child at full term. By creating this it allowed a part of me to heal and feel the flames burning from within knowing my family is always with me.
