Light in the Darkness represents finding hope and the silver lining when everything around you seems dark. I was diagnosed 4 years ago and it's overwhelming coming to terms with a life changing disease. I have always tried to be a positive person and a friendly person. Somedays that is challenging and you can feel very alone. I have fallen in love with textured art and use it as art therapy. Although it is a dark and moody piece I felt very calm and at peace while making this artwork.
