Hand-built stoneware ceramic with glaze finish
I started pottery years ago after my MS coordinator suggested it as a way to relax. At the time, I wasn’t sure it was for me, as I had undergone surgery on both hands and my strength was limited. But after giving it some thought, I decided to give it a try and that one decision changed everything.
I began by making plates and platters for my family, and over time I grew into creating my own pieces, mostly practical items we use every day, each one made with care and love.
“Moonfired” captures the gentle balance between flame and form. The sculptural curves surround the light like petals around a glow, creating a sense of calm, warmth, and quiet reflection.
