Not The End

Cardboard, string, pegs, seashell, pin

When I was diagnosed with MS, I struggled with the uncertainty and unpredictability of the disease. But it did inspire me to do some of the things I'd set aside in my head for "some day". So I booked my bucket list holiday to Western Australia. I swam with whale sharks, manta rays, and snorkeled the beautiful Ningaloo Reef. I needed help and asking was hard, especially with a lifelong fear of open water. I spent six months practicing in pools, then on to the local lake, and eventually to the beautiful waters of Ningaloo. In the process I learned so much about myself. Including a new passion for swimming. It was worth every moment. Please don't leave it on your "some day" list. Do it today.
