This painting is the view from the verandah at our farm after a storm. I have sat looking at this view after diagnosis, after infusions and it is also the spot my now husband proposed. Whenever there is a storm up there, I think about the proposal (which happened after an epic storm) and the metaphorical storm that MS diagnosis was - and the calm and colour I feel now that I am comfortable with it (5 years in).
