Syntex Error

Through the creative process of abstraction, I explore and externalise my lived experience of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). My work reflects the ongoing disconnection between my mind and body – a split that feels both invisible and disruptive. I use the metaphor of a fragmented motherboard to represent this experience: although everything appears structurally intact, the signals misfire, leaving intentions lost in transmission. Through layering, distortion, and glitch-like imagery, I make visible the internal chaos, expressing both frustration and resilience. Art becomes my way of decoding and translating these disjointed messages into something tangible, meaningful, and human.
