In 2026, MS Plus took important steps to better understand and demonstrate the difference our services make in the lives of people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions. By listening to clients, tracking outcomes and measuring changes in quality of life, we can see the real impact of specialised neurological care.
The results are encouraging. More than half of Allied Health clients improved across every area measured by the Neuro-QoL quality of life survey, which captures the physical, mental and social impacts of neurological conditions. Clients receiving MS Plus Allied Health therapies showed greater improvement in anxiety, depression, fatigue, wellbeing, cognitive function and daily activities than those not receiving these services.
Key results included:
- 60% of clients reported a decrease in fatigue after having Allied Health therapy
- 50-70% of clients reported a decrease in anxiety and depression, and improved wellbeing after receiving Allied Health or Employment Support
- More than 90% of exercise physiology and physiotherapy clients reported improved mobility.
Care that works together
For many clients, the greatest benefit comes from accessing multiple services in one place, from professionals who understand neurological conditions. Our multidisciplinary model brings together expertise in movement, fatigue management, nutrition, employment, wellbeing and symptom management.
Clients who attended multiple Allied Health sessions showed the highest rates of improvement across eight of the nine Neuro-QoL domains, reinforcing what many clients tell us: specialist care helps people feel stronger, more confident and more in control.
MS Plus clientYour service has made a significant difference to my life, and myself and my family will always be grateful.
Listening to clients
Client feedback continues to shape and improve our services. In 2026:
- 76% of clients said our services helped reduce client or family stress.
- 79% said our services improved community access and participation.
- Eight out of 10 clients felt respected and supported in achieving their goals.
- Eight out of 10 reported improved understanding and management of symptoms.
One physiotherapy client described MS Plus care as "personalised, evidence-based care that maximises mobility and independence."
Support that protects independence
The right support can help people stay connected to work, family and community. MS Plus Employment Support is ranked number one out of 17 providers in its segment, based on client satisfaction surveys conducted by CoAct.
Clients consistently highlight the value of this support:
"Without the help of MS Plus, I would not have been able to keep working as long as I have."
Practical help, human connection
Beyond clinical outcomes, clients tell us they value feeling understood, supported and less alone. Across services including dietetics, peer support, support coordination and plan management, people report greater confidence and reassurance.
Behind every statistic is a person working to stay mobile, employed, connected and independent. These outcomes show that specialist neurological care can create measurable improvements and meaningful personal change.
Supporters and donors make this possible. Together, we can continue improving outcomes and ensuring no one has to navigate their neurological condition alone.
