Wool that was felted, rabbit fur dyed blue, assorted ribbons and fabric scraps.
Creating this was early in my felting process combining felting with embroidery to make embellished work. I wanted to go beyond the purist way of doing felting to developing my own style. I can create my own path and use materials that don’t need accuracy. Felting is very forgiving but I can also put pieces aside that I don’t use and utilise them later, avoiding waste in my work.
